SB Physio’s Balance & Strength Classes are an ongoing weekly program designed for adults 65+ who want to improve strength, balance, and mobility—whether you're transitioning out of physical therapy or simply looking to stay active and independent.

Led by our experienced staff and Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) students, these small-group sessions offer a safe, encouraging space to continue progressing beyond formal PT or prevent decline before it starts.

  • ✅ Open to community members, past patients, and patients completing therapy

  • ✅ Weekly, consistent schedule for long-term progress

  • ✅ RSVP required (same-day attendance possible if space is available)

Class Levels

Level Description

🔥 Beginner - Fall recovery training, balance foundations, and at-home exercise development.

Intermediate - Dynamic balance strategies and community-level mobility skills.

🚀 Advanced - Higher-level movements including jumping, hiking, and agility-based tasks.

A brief screening ensures you’re placed in the right level.

Class Schedule

These classes are active and ongoing each week. Join anytime.

  • Monday & Thursday: 1:00 PM – 1:50 PM

  • Tuesday: 11:00 AM – 11:50 AM

📍 Location: SB Physio – Santa Barbara
📩 RSVP in advance (preferred the day before). Same-day drop-ins accepted if space permits.

Payment & Insurance Info

These classes are considered preventative wellness services and are not billable to Medicare or any insurance. They are available on a self-pay basis.

If you need individualized care or have medical needs, our licensed physical therapists are available for formal one-on-one PT appointments.
